A Sad day As the Consigliere Calls It Quits

Posted on 29 November 2008 by Dutch Schultz

This could be very likely the last great peace of work you will ever get to see from the famous Consigliere, who has just announced his retirement from the t shirt game. He came out with some nice smash hits in his time but I believe he left with a bang when he rolled out this classic called Before there was Bling. Often found running around the new Loiter, Ink. website, Consigliere was a mans’ man who will be missed greatly in the t shirt community. I hope we all can give a moment of silence as we remember our great friend the Consigliere as he explores other adventures in life.  Please help me in giving him a big Middle Finger Salute as we wish him nothing but the best.

Tom loiters and a t shirt is born

Posted on 16 November 2008 by Dutch Schultz

It is no secret that Tom Burns is my favorite t shirt artist right now and I have become a huge fan of Loiter Ink at the same time. What a perfect marriage and the other artist lately have been bringing some heat as well but I wanted to focus on Tom today so the three below are some of Mr. Burns newest shirts.

Not very subtle but this one is great. I love it because I did my own Monopoly Head tshirt that you can see on the Wizeguyztees homesite. This time there is no head being given.

Not sure how new this is but I loved it so I threw it in anyways. Everyone loves the Peanut Guy but for some reason he has lost his Mojo in this adventure. Hope this isn’t the end of my favorite snack. And then here we go for anyone who has seen the movie Clockwork Orange, you will love this one

I have had a few friends pass out at parties and end up looking like this guy. I guess Tom Burns has seen a few guys marked up before too and though of this design. I have to hand it to him on this one as it is truely original and very creative. This one gets my rare Middle Finger Award for having the tightest qualities that I look for in a shirt. It surprises me and makes me laugh my ass off. Until next time, your boy Dutch is signing off.

New T Shirts From Loiter, Ink.

Posted on 07 November 2008 by Dutch Schultz

Just thought it was worth a post to show you the latest from my second favorite t shirt website in the world. A huge middle finger salute to Loiter, Ink. for continuing to get the public going crazy. They a cool ability to use some artists such as the great Tom Burns over and over again but they will always show luv to a random artist if they submit designs that are good enough. I would not call them another Threadless in that they do not have community voting but they do pay out fairly and seem to make good in house decisions on what submissions they decide to print. Here is two of my favorites from the new section.

This one above is a new design from Tom Burns who I have decided is my favorite t shirt artist to date. This guy could be in the Wizeguyz Family just by waking up and taking a shit. That is how cold this guy is as an artist. Loiter won the lottery when this guy hooked up with them. Another design which I think is hot is from an artist that has never released a design for Loiter, Ink. before but in my opinion, Exocet is someone to look out for if he keeps coming with designs like this one.

How simple, yet effective right?

Luckythreadz Turns Into Loiter and Tom Burns the House Down

Posted on 17 September 2008 by Dutch Schultz

I can’t say enough about Tom Burns and his almost celebrity status that he has earned for himself amongst the online community who love and respect t shirt artists who bring their A game with every design. This guy has a golden touch and never seems to run out of ideas. I think I have a ton of ideas but can’t draw worth a shit. This leaves me crippled because most artists want money upfront for the design as opposed to royalties down the road unless the t shirt website is ballin out of control like Luckythreadz…..  I mean Loiter. That is right people, my second favorite t shirt website next to Wizeguyztees has changed it’s name to Loiter.com and has taken the internet world by hostage with an unofficial marriage with the hottest graphic designer in North America until someone can step up and claim this title from him.  This guy takes a healthy shit in the morning,,, looks at it before he flushes and sees another golden idea to go and draw. Ten minutes later the Johnny Baker turns into another golden hit for the Loiter family to print and sell to all of it’s loyal fan base. They run the site very simple too, with no blog, no community shit like Threadless.com. They just post pictures of t shirts and sell the hell out of them and they now have the Tom Brady of the t shirt world banging out hits left and right.  All I ever seem to see when I take a dump is some unhealthy looking chunks of shit. I am still trying to get my imagination to the level of Tom Burns but it is a long road for me to play catch up at this point and then I still have to get around the small issue that I can’t draw a stick figure without hurting myself. I really love the fact that Loiter sells funny ass t shirts and now they offer them on loads of different types of clothing such as long sleeve, short sleeve, etc.  What they also do now is they offer wallets with designs on them and Tom Burns has even come out with some cool glow in the dark sticky designs to put on your walls and ceiling for the next time you hit the bong and decide to sit in your room for the rest of the night you can now be entertained like never before.  I would much rather get laid but that is probably just me. I am sure millions of Americans would rather get stoned and sit in their rooms which is why Tom Burns has released these wall images. I have to roll out some pictures of my recent favorites from my second favorite t shirt website so here we go.

Tom Burns Creates Magic for Luckythreadz

Posted on 25 May 2008 by Dutch Schultz

Check out this design by what some call the Godfather of T Shirt Designers, Tom Burns.  This dude has a way of taking anything and twisting some humor out of it. I love this design and it fits perfect with the type of t shirts that Luckythreadz likes to sell.  If you have not done so, and you call yourself a t shirt fan, you must check out his portfolio.  It is very impressive, mainly becuase I am a true fan of the funny, offensive, humor type designs and that is one of  Tom Burns specialties. Not to sell him short, he has a profile on Design by Humans that is clearly showing off his other elemnts in graphic design. It really seems like he is the Tiger Woods of the industry. He has been blogged about on countless sites and he seems to be booked until 2025. Heck, I even tried to get him to do a design and although he was really cool about it, he simply had too much on his table. Must be nice to be one of the most hounded freelancers of the internet world.
In my opinion, this is the one that hit the billboard charts and gave him the most fame so far. Not to say this is his best design because that is always going to come down to opinion, however, I think this design has become the staple for what Tom Burns can do. Check out his portfolio of work when you have a chance and maybe shoot him an email to let him know you like his work. Everyone loves kudo’s so you can never burn a bridge by telling someone they are great at what they do. Stop back by and leave me a comment as well and let me know what you think of his work. Pictures are taken directly off the LuckyThreadz website so I would love to see some traffic head their way from this post and I continue to keep an eye on this t shirt company as they have become my favorite t shirt site on the internet, next to wizeguyztees of course.
